Department of Environmental Science and Geography, under the faculty of Applied Science & Technology started functioning from October 03, 2017. It is in the third floor of the Applied Science and Technology building. The department consists of five faculty members and hosts about 50 students. The prime objective of this Department is to make students aware of the relationship between Human and the Physical Environment. The department offers Four Years B.Sc (Hons) Undergraduate Program and one-year M.S Graduate Program. MS level students are offered courses of two streams covering both thesis and non-thesis group. Graduate Program also offers Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). The Programs offer multiple courses on Physical Geography; Human Geography; Geo-spatial Techniques (GIS & Remote Sensing) and Environmental Science.
