The Department of Physical Education started its activities since 1987. The very begging of Islamic University. The Department has very good reputation all through its duration of activities in the field of games and sports Inter Department, Inter Hall, Inter University, National and International level. The Department has its own qualified physical educationist and trained coaches trained from home abroad. Our main object is to organized games and sports and trained teams. In this department one director, five deputy director, one deputy registrar (admin), two assistant director, one assistant registrar (admin), two section officer (admin) one grounds man, one photocopy machine operator and one field assistant . The activities of the department and annual programs are decided in collaboration with a sports committee headed by pro-vice chancellor/ Treasurar and professors other than games and sports. The director of physical education is working as a member secretary in this committee.  The department organized several coaching program for all selected team of different games like Football, Cricket, Volleyball ,Tennis, Buscketball, Handball, Athletics, Badminton and Table Tennis chess etc. Department also issue the certificate and also provide bleasure for champion and individual gold medelist player and athletics. The University authority provide a facility name “player Quota” in 10 talented student those who are study BKSP and also play to National team to admit in different subject in all facilities. The University has two fields one football and another for cricket and athletics. One big modern wooden floor Gymnesiam also having separate grounds of Buscketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis and separate exercise room. Inside the Gymnesiam there is a physical education office building. Where separate rooms for officers, office, store room and a guestroom.
