To meet the increasing demand of pharmacy education, Islamic University, Kushtia, one of the top public universities in Bangladesh, established pharmacy department in the year 2017.With strongly following the academic calendar and updated syllabus, the department ensures quality education through regular classes, tutorial, quiz, laboratory works, industry visits, annual excursion and other co-curricular activities. Students regularly participate in extracurricular activities like sporting, debating and cultural programs. By this time, the department has highly qualified faculty members, modern equipped classroom and seminar library containing large collection of necessary books, articles and journals.As pharmacy is a multidisciplinary and dynamic subject, the program has been designed in a modern and up to date way so that students can build up their career in different areas of drug discovery, research, quality control, quality assurance, formulation, drug development, drug manufacturing, validation, pharmaceutical marketing, and higher education. Thus, our persistent efforts are directed towards creating highly qualified, skillful and caring pharmacists who will dynamically contribute to our health care system as well as in the abroad. We strongly believe that after completion of B.Pharm and M. Pharm program, students will be able to participateuniversally for jobs and higher studies.
