A 4-day teaching and training mobility programme conducted by four delegates from Cankiri Karatekin University, Turkey and arranged by the International Students Affairs Cell of IU came to an end today. On this occasion a discussion meeting was held at vice-chancellor's conference room. Addressing the meeting as the chief guest the VC of IU Professor Dr. Rashid Askari said, "The dream of the internationalization of IU that I've been cherishing since my appointment as the VC is being implemented now. We are exchanging teaching and other professional or technical expertise with China through Confucius Institute. And now a new window of higher studies and research has opened for IU with the assistance of Cankiri Karatekin University, Turkey. I think that through this university we'll have an opportunity to perform multifarious tasks, jobs or research programmes with the European Union." Pro-VC Professor Dr. M Shahinoor Rahman and Treasurer Professor Dr. Selim Toha addressed the meeting as special guests. The delegates from Cankiri Karatekin University Dr. Suayip Turan, Dr. Burak Keskin, Dr. Efehan Ulas and Mr. Serkan Koldas also spoke in the meeting.
